I’ve been off everything really, except the pies! Think I’ve done less miles this year than I’d do in couple of months in a normal year.
I’m getting back to it mind, in part a conscious decision to stop working every waking hour and partly the realisation I was getting very unfit!
Tonight did me good though, was a good steady pace I could have kept at for another hour or three rather than tearing my legs off, still a good 40-50w off where I was last summer and a stone heavier mind.
(Also no prizes for 800W charges off the start in a team event, not that I ever won prizes doing it in non team events mind)
