    If the op goes through small claims he can claim interest though I suspect he would just be happy with his money back at this stage

    Small claims is less than satisfactory re interest. I waited a year to receive the guest instalment of 12, after winning judgement and the defendant claiming he couldn’t afford to refund the £300 I’d paid him in the first place, no interest added. I appreciate it would be c£10 but I’ll wait 2 years to get my money so it’s the principle!

    Yes, monies received and ‘re-invested’ in a VX220 from a dealer 10 mins down the road. Plan to pick it up this coming weekend after it gets serviced and fresh mot, etc. Nice relatively low miles with FSH and a very thick history file.

    Interestingly enough a VX was what I originally sought to get but the other car I saw as a cheaper but has 90% of the fun of a VX.

    Of course a VX is also a poor mans Elise…. 😈
