Our sport should be encouraging to everyone and not say girls do this and boys to that. Or indeed infer that to be the case as in this video.

For me it’s the tacit support of an industry that maintains a ridiculous standard of what is attractive.

There has been talk of ’empowerment’ for those that choose to be in this industry, but imo it is NOT empowering for women par se as there is still a very prescriptive view of beauty in this industry. Just look at the lengths some women go to to achieve this ‘standard’.

seriously? how would that video put woman off cycling? no one with any sort of common sense or a brain would be put off cycling (trials riding more accurate) by that video. The wife watched it and never commented on the ladies in the bikini’a and neither did my 9 year old son. I didn’t even pay attention to them either as I was watching the rider. This stupid feminist attitude has no place in todays society.
