I think the disagreement is about whether “pikey” is racist. I maintain that it is.

I don’t think it matters if it’s racist or something-else-ist. I just have a problem with the assertion that all pikeys are thieving scum, just like I would with the assertion that all Irish people are stupid or that all French people are surrender monkeys.
