Not for this thread, but that is not true. If it’s a film-based source (which GoT is), then any reasonable modern deinterlacer should detect it as such and do reverse 3:2 pulldown with absolutely no difference between 1080i60 and 1080p24
More important for Sky is
a) Adverts. I could never watch anything with adverts interrupting.
b) Bitrate and compression algorithm. They seem to compress more than HBO in the US.
c) Do they tinker with anything. There was a lot of talk about them boosting blacks on the movie channels to look better on many average TVs.
