*i know how religious you are

true, I am a bearded prophet of singlespeediness and my religious Sunday observances include, accepting the penance of hangover from my lord beers bounteous gifts last night and sourcing a UK manufacturer of Ti cogs in a boone stylee. Also preparing for joining the One cog brethren in the forests of dean tomorrow.

Arse, distant lack of brakes upon my trusty steed means I shall miss this one, oh and the mounting pile of paperwork* that I need for Tuesday as I have been rather lazy these last few days…..

(*believe it or not I have to go through nominees, and organise my votes for the Erotic Trade Awards)

Not adjusting to anything other than horizontal at present :-/

You want to be careful AW, that sort of thing can get a girl a bad name……….. 😉

BTW, Wheelie, nice Yeti 😉 Now we just need a pic of you on it pulling a massive, er, wheelie !

as the garden looks tidy, what are the masses going to pick fault with now?

I’m sorry to report that the “narrow” fill-in-the-gap section of tiles in that picture is playing havoc with my OCD………..

Argh bike photo fail, as the garden looks tidy, what are the masses going to pick fault with now?

Background not white (or off white).
    Drive-sides to the wall.
    Cranks not aligned with chainstays.

    That enough? 😛

I can’t believe I’m the first to spot the tyre logos not lined up with the valves. What were you thinking, Wheelie?

@ maxtorque…it hurts my eyes too in fact it was the first thing I noticed. Maybe I’m just too anal when I build.

@WG. Glad to see things are getting better however slight the increments may be. Having a few peeps on here making you laugh is a positive. Things will fall into place.

You’re riding flats and have a hardtail so its another yes from me.

I do think someone has stolen the seatpost from your yeti however……

Bikes look good to me – and im am resisting the urge to see where my tyre logos are in relation to my valves . . . .

The Yeti is cool, but I love the Cove! I still have a Handjob in the shed… (Snigger)
    (Frame, that is 😆 )

Ha ha! That tile thing is weird, not sure why anyone would do that? Hmmm Australians are a bit odd.
As for the tyre valve thing, I have no excuse, that is just absolute laziness on my part!
The yeti does have a seat post if you are worried its been stolen. And the bikes are just that clean cause there is only dust here!
Oh and although my name suggests I may be good at wheelies I am in fact terrible at them, still practicing!

Have you taken any pics on your rides out there? Picture of sunny dry rides would make a change from the norm 🙂

Still have snow on the hills around here, no riding for me today it was all about children and chocolate.

I’m sure you’ll get the hang of the picture thing WG – and plenty of eager helpers on here if you cant

maxtorque. fair do’s. That looks nice. shame I’m not a gayer. It is an aspirational STW dreeeaaam. wooooooow. Is that it is it. What we are all supposed to aspire to. bollocks. Take it home maxtorque, doesn’t cut my mustard, even if I was uber gay!

As Ron said Photobucket is much, much more simple. Look at photo, copy link below it, paste to thread. It even puts the brackets in for you, thus:
    .

    .
Me on a Yeti in Oz acouple of years ago. Actually just bought the plane ticket to go back again this year, with a different Yeti, really excited already! Oz and a Yeti are just the best things ever.
    .
(appologies for slight thread hijack, but if anyone else on here is heading out to Stromlo for the 24hr Worlds, with or without a Yeti, I would love hear from you, email in profile. End of hijack)
    .
Anyway, that piece of cake on the table, do tell us more. Not had a good cake thread on here for ages. Looks like a brownie with a little clotted cream, love the crusts on brownies, and in the sunshine with a bottle of wine too!

Oh did someone say brownies, now there is an entirely new thread…..

    Mmmmmm, cake, coffee, wine, sunshine.
*sigh* I could get very used to that… (Wistfully looks into the distance)

It’s what UK trail centres are missing: a winery that also does brownies (pictured) and wood oven pizzas

(And before anyone says it, yes, the Soul is mine, and yes, I’m fully aware the brake hoses need shortening.)

Missing a winery – but more importantly sunshine and warmth. Really hope we get a heat wave this year….or maybe I could just ask for a transfer to oz with work…

It was a chocolate and raspberry brownie to be exact, with cream, soooooooo good!

Adjustablewench, do it! What just happened with my ex sucks, but I love Australia, it’s a beautiful place and the people are great, and for those reasons I’m so glad I came here!

For those who still have problems with Flickr use this method as it does the hard work for you.

    Flickr

Flickr follows the same rules as above but they have added a button to retrieve the BBcode.

Find the photo you want on flickr
Above the photo there are two boxes “actions” and “share this”
Drop the menu in “share this”
See “grab the HTML/BBCode” and click.
See two buttons below the script, “HTML” “BBCode”
    Check “BBCode”
Paste this code into the Singletrack forum post box

Would really love too but like the old woman who lived in a shoe I have too many children which would make it a logistical nightmare. One day when the have all left home I am packing my bike up and going travelling (they have all been warned!).

Have you done a tally chart yet of how many proposals and offers.
This must be one of the most read and responded to threads. Only thread that would have had more responses would be if you were in blighty .

I can remember several multi page threads where someone on here needed help/support/cheering up. It’s one of the great things stw is good for.

WG, as an aside from your new found admirers, if you wanted to see some more reasons to stay in oz a bit longer, have a mosey over to my Flickr. Photos from our last few days camping now there – we’ve found yet more wonderful parts of the world, and you’ll need to use the second gear lever in your car to get here too 😉

Having looked at all the pics i have now definitely put oz on my list of places to ride – and your pics are amazing zokes. i’m really pining for the sun now.

You forget how nice the colour blue is when you haven’t seen it for a while, all grey in Sheffield atm with snow on the hills still

My breaking up from girlfriend thread got two or three pages, from that point of view it is my most successful thread! Sometimes it’s just good to talk to strangers about these things, it certainly helped me, and hopefully the OP too.
Could we have a trail centre with a winery in this country? I’ve raced at Finale Ligure in Italy and that course went through a vinyard (which was great, as were the local ice-creams) However, I feel that round here a paddy field is more likely at present.

Yes. And no, about a year and a half ago;-) (no Yeti though, she had a Spec Stumpy) I’m back to normal happy me now, but you guys on here were a help at the time, sometimes it is easier to talk to strangers.
