Well, she’s a good looking woman, and they’re a crowd of sex addicted footballers – I’m sure she was regularly doing the whole team in one marathon post match session. Jesus wept…rumours indeed. Football and its fans – welcome to the 21st century where we can safely assume sometimes that female doctors can operate professionally amongst sportsmen.
Odinary they where @dd, played for a draw at Liverpool and got lucky. A draw would have been enough for Liverpool and they should have been smart enough to take it and thus the PL. Chelsea won the league as their challengers imploded, this season they’ve been found out.
jamba, you’re talking about the season before you muppet.
EDIT: I find it hard to believe the rough treatment metered oit to the club doctor is the root of Chelseas problems. I cant really see any of todays footballers or indeed the management of a club like Chelsea caring two hoots about the doctor. She did a daft thing and should have known better, she didn’t deserve the response. The club doctor is eminently expendable
She’s not expendable if she’s doing a good job and the squad like her. Whether she did something stupid or not is debatable (I think anyone with common sense thinks she did the right thing – the ref called her on didn’t he?) but her subsequent treatment by Mourinho and the club was pretty shocking – it might well be enough to make the team “not like” the manager.
Sorry Bravissimo. I’d forgotten that something would have to be right-on and politically correct for there to be any shred of truth in it….
I just have a dislike of “rumours” binbins…if they’re borne of sexist attitudes, I dislike them even more. If she wants to shag the team, then it’s her business, not mine or anybody else’s.
It’s entertaining in that it’s so unpredictable but the actual games have been pretty dreadful. The quality of football is the worst I can remember it.
fantastic, it’s actually competitive, we are in November and it’s still open for 6/7 teams, the bottom end of the table is wide open and there will be a lot to play for for a good few months.

+1 See my point about Leicester’s tilt above. I welcome the competitiveness, like any fan, but the quality has been poor. Even Liverpool’s three big away victories, while all excellent results, were accompanied by nothing like the quality of their 13/14 season.
Its fascinating that almost everyone has had the same problem. The one Liverpool demonstrated this week. The same squad, maybe with a few changes, will be brilliant one game, then the next one they’ll look like they’ve never met each other before.
The only team who have been consistent is United (excepting Leicester obviously). Consistently bloody dull! Oh… and Chelsea. I’m loving every minute of every Chelsea game at the moment. 😀
Imagine if we could have competitiveness without dullness and emerging English talent that might compete at an international competition?
Fascinating and competitive (although I’d put my house on a team that has won it before winning it again this season) yes, but high quality? For me, no. Jeez, even Serie A is more exciting to watch than the EPL at the moment. 🙂

The established top 4 are certainly of poorer quality than usual, but several “lesser” teams in the top half are playing some quick, attacking football, and to call the likes of Leicester poor quality does them a disservice.
There’s not much point worrying about the national game unless the league is re-structured to support it.
Expanding on that, if we want to re-structure the league to support England, we could probably look forward to a German or Spanish model where the league is dominated by a couple of teams.
What daft hing did she do? I watched that match live and she was called on by the ref to treat a time wasting injured player, if anything the player (Hazard?) should have been given the rocket not the doctor. Anyway Mourinho has never won anything in his 3rd season anywhere so they may as well sack him now and save the embarrassment.
Leicester let in too many goals to go the distance IMO and they will get worked out.
@dragon, she should have phaffed around, not come to the sdieline and wasted time in the same was as Hazard. The ref would have stood over Hazard and he would have got up when told it was that or leaving the field for treatment. I don’t approve of any of that but its the way of the game
Whether she did something stupid or not is debatable
She did her job as required. Aplayer was down injured and the ref waived her on there was nothing else she could do at that point so blame the ref of her duty of care but dont blame her
Realy DD over two legs you think Liverpool were clearly the better side- there was very little between the two sides and either could have won it.
There was very little between them but Dortmund’s manager said Liverpool deserved it so that will do me. 🙂
People may like to mock but you can’t help feeling the famous Anfield atmosphere at European matches played a part in getting them through. As soon as it went to 2-3 you could sense Dortmund looking rattled and Liverpool looking like they were starting to believe.
In true scouse style, I’ve already heard the ‘its our year’ talk of this prophesying that they’re definitely going to win the Premiership and the Champions League next season 😆
