ANNOUNCING THE RETURN OF ORANGE FACTORY RACING
With almost 3-decades of history between the tape, it was inevitable that Orange would make a proper come back to racing, and today is that day.
The new team will be a 3-man squad of talented British pinners, made up of Lachlan Blair, Joe Connell and Tom Wilson. They will race the full Enduro World Series, British National Enduro events and various UK and European select events.
Lachlan is a familiar face for Orange having spent the last 2 years on Hazzard Racing honing his skills and scoring a whole heap of British enduro wins and rock-solid EWS results. He’ll bring his experience between the tape and in front of the camera to guide the team.
Joe Connell joins the Orange family, bringing effortless style and top-30 EWS results. With almost 15 years of racing under his belt, Orange is excited to see what Joe can achieve with a full program of support.
Last but not least, the young gun Tom Wilson steps up to the Factory team, having ridden for Orange for the last 4 years. With great results in the Under 21 EWS and British National Enduro Series, Tom has the potential to go far with the guidance of his well-seasoned team mates and full-package support.
The team will use a combination of production and prototype Orange bikes, with the mighty Stage 6 and Switch 6 as their main race bikes. As a true ‘factory’ team, Orange Factory Racing will work closely with some of Orange’s top-tier partners who will supply the very best components from their own collections.
The team will run Leatt clothing and protection, Formula suspension, Michelin tyres, e*thirteen wheels, chain guides and cranks, Burgtec bars, grips and stems, SDG seatposts and saddles, Granite Design onboard tools and Juice Lubes maintenance products.

ORANGE RACING HERITAGE
It’s no understatement to say that racing is part of our DNA. Orange was born in the late 80’s out of a desire to make better race bikes. The brand quickly gathered pace, winning British championships in the 90’s and then on to the very top of the sport with the Animal Orange and Global Racing teams and some of the sport’s biggest names, including Steve Peat, Greg Minnaar, Missy Giove, Mick Hannah and, of course, Tracey Hannah who won World Champs on an Orange.
