    There’s a thread on pink bike from a(nother?) chap who paid £2k for a ti frame around a year ago that’s had nothing (STW ran the press release that said they were stopping ti production in sept…) I know of others that have had nothing too, not just in the UK. Absolute shower. Still pumping out the insta though…

    And another month goes by without them answering emails. Plenty of people out there looking for refunds by all accounts. I still have the wrong frame in my possession will probably keep it as I doubt the correct one will ever arrive.

    Unless you really want it, ship it back and send them a letter recorded, that unless they refund within 28 days you’ll take further action, then take them to small claims. It’s easy, won’t cost when you’ve won, and as a business they’ll have to come to your local court of they choose to fight it. Which they won’t. Problem solved.

    The whole social media thing bullshit, spouting shit about the next crazy idea or showing some shitty stem then kicking off at people who want refunds or complaining about the wait. When I ordered my frame it was noted as a 30day wait, this was last May, last **** May! Only got the wrong frame delivered in December, luckily in the right size but the wrong colour, no response to emails since. As far as I’m concerned now they are an absolute shower of **** who are complete hypocrites who can go and **** themselves to hell and back a few times!

    For a bit of perspective (not defending them) I contacted Marino who has been doing their cheaper steel frames to get a sample gravel frame as a test before a small batch produced. After about six months he built us a front triangle, then disappeared. Sent a couple of emails, got nothing back. After xmas got an email with pictures of 95% finished frame and basically ‘sorry we had problems, do you still want this?’ replied same day saying may as well, it’s basically finished and actually looks pretty rad. No reply, two months. So there is actually a lovely gravel frame sitting in Peru with our tasty trees engraved on it. With anti toe overlap geo.

    Short version, dealing with people in other countries is hard and this is why real brands visit their vendors.

    What I find slightly odd is that Cotic and WeAreOne (to name a couple) seem happy to associate themselves with them based on their Instagram posts. You’d have thought they would show no interest in any of their posts unless there is some sympathy with their situation which I find hard to grasp given the apparent evidence.

    Longmover – a blast and powdercoat is £40. Not an ideal solution but the best chance of getting the bike you want. Not like you’ll be invalidating a warranty of any worth. Even winning in small claims, I can still see you having no bike and no money.

    Exactly, i’ll Run it with the original paint until it all comes off, which will be about a week then get it powder coated somewhere.

    When I drove past the tattoo shop at the weekend it looked like it was shut down. Not 100% on that but certainly sounds like the wheels are coming off

    Longmover, how about boxing it up and keeping it mint. Might be so rare it will one day be worth a fortune. All the fanboi’s will one day be old enough to buy one and you might have the only one in turd brown ever produced..

    Looking back at the issues they’ve had from very early on it seems like it’s a one big Ponzi scam. Advertise, makm just enough frames to sell loads of orders and keep hanging on until they get found out.

    I can’t help but think that if they bought a jig from The Bicycle Academy, a bit of tube and learnt to weld themselves that they might actually have delivered possibly more than they have so far with their disruptive/Instagram/supreme/Millennials approach?
