Whilst leading a boggies ride around Winster on Saturday Simon Barnes has suffered a heart attack, two of the group administered CPR until paramedics arrived which was around 30 minutes!
He was stabilized and taken to Lancaster Infirmary he his now critical in Blackpool coronary care 🙁
My thoughts and the whole of the bogtrotters club are with Simon and his family.
Bravo to the group that got him treated and administered life saving fist aid!

Jees, never met the guy but obviously seen much of his input on here, must have been a scary time for all involved, as not some thing you expect to happen on a ride.

Worrying times for friends and family, lets hope that he pulls through and manages to get a full recovery.

I have always enjoyed his posts and his photographs and look forward to them again in the not too distant future.

So heal well and fast Simon.

Just a quick one I have just been informed not all of Simons relatives have been informed of the situation, there is not a lot I can do about this thread but if you could be mind full when posting on Facebook/twitter for the next 24hrs.

He is stable and sedated on a ventilator @ the moment.
