OP has cleared up any ambiguity and even gave a perfectly understandable reason for it. It’s early on in the thread for all to see.

Ling has failed to back up her trading standards claim with proof. She may not have any, it may be a false claim, who knows?

Thanks, genuinely as I think you are indeed being genuine too.

I’m perfectly ok however, I have lots of time at my disposal by default on occasion. More so at this time of the year and time of the day.

Ultimately I’m just waiting to see how Ling answers the simple questions thus avoided for 59 pages. And counting.

I can give advise about the legality of fronting if any wants , but it will be £500 plus vat in advance as I have to start work within the cooling off period. You will be liable for my fees to that amount if you ask me to work within the 14 day cooling off period, notwithstanding your legal right to cancel our contract.

Thanks for that Sbob. Up until Ling accused us of ‘accommodation’ activity neither of us had heard of it and following reading that link we wouldn’t have fallen into any of them scenarios.

That said, the scenario of fronting is something Ling has come up with in an effort to discredit us and vehemently accuse us of to continue avoiding addressing the questions and claims she’s made.

SC is reading through all this today as I’ve notified him to Ling’ threat to harm his credit rating, which he’s now taking seriously.

Still begs the question, how can we breach term of a finance agreement we couldn’t see until we had ordered the car on an unfair contract and on an agreement that’s not even been read or taken out of its envelope for signing yet?!

You can only get a marker on your credit file of you miss payments on an existing agreement.

There are a couple of ways that Ling could maliciously do short term damage to a credit file cut for obvious reasons I’m not posting them here!

I’ve kept out of the meat of the thread, but how is your case not similar to either example 1 or 3?
