Sad dat. have been wondering when he would go in Ambridgeworld. It must have been really moving and tough for the actors to do that scene after losing their friend in real life.
Yes I have to admit Eddie’s farewell to his dad was as moving a piece of radio as I’ve heard in a long time. I suspect there was genuine emotion there as well as good acting.
Na, Lynda’s a major character and someone needs to look after the llamas – I reckon she’ll be revived by the paramedics then spend some time recovering, but mostly be okay.
Gavin, on the other hand, is expendable and toast. Cue Philip and Kirsty beating themselves up about going away for the weekend.
Ambridge is short on disabled characters so my prediction is that Linda will become a quadriplegic surviver and as part of his rehabilitation process Freddie will offer a couple of limbs for transplant. In his PTSD Oliver starts molesting Tracy calling her Caroline.
Looks like Gavin has dodged the bullet then. Blake? Who’s Blake?
He’ll be some off-the-books incompetent with a bad chain-smoking habit who Gav sub-contracted the job to so he could spend his weekend moping around with a hangover feeling sorry for himself. Blake will have caused the explosion by hacking through the gas main with a lit fag hanging out of the corner of his mouth. Blake will have been unsupervised and probably invalidated Philip Moss’s liability insurance.
I think Gavin is in all sorts of trouble even if he hasn’t been blown up 🙂
Can anyone remember who actually left the gas on?
I seem to remember an employee saying something about making bacon butties on the morning of the explosion, but I can’t remember who.
Freddy, Tracy, Roy?
Not sure I am that impressed with the “monologues” but I do like Tracy becoming a bigger character, I am prepared for some truly daft storylines involving her.
The monologues just don’t work for me, i find it difficult to keep listening to it. I’m amazed with todays technology that they have to do something like that.
