Half decent turbo trainer for the girlfriend, recommendations please.

The girlfriend doesn’t do night rides so can anyone recommend a good turbo trainer for not a lot of cash please.

Not the advice you’ll be wanting, but turbo trainers are dismal torture devices. Better to buy her a good all-weather jacket and go on rides with her..

I just got a second hand friction thingy one off ebay for £20. It seems OK, bit lo-fi, but it’s just a wheel and a hamster with a handbrake.
I wouldnt want to drop much more dosh on one unless she was doing 15hrs+ a week on one.

Get a magnetic one, with variable resistance. Don’t need anything too fancy. Spend and extra money on a Sufferfest video, or a fan!
