We drop a bowler when perhaps we should have been looking at the batsmen? It’s bloody test cricket. Where are the guys who can bat the day out?

Back early in the first test I stated my theory of 50 runs per wicket being the minimum rate for the top order. I don’t think any team have come close in the 4 and a bit innings we have seen yet so this might not be all bad yet.

Bums – as soon as I post that Trot is gone

You have to factor in I am intermittently working / checking the score on the BBC web site / posting on here (not in that order). I was typing away about how we were building toward a respectable score having not checked for a couple of minutes.

Occasionally England may need to bat twice

Not iver yet and i was just as gushing in my praise for the Aussies who have been far more competitive than anyone [ or at least me] expected

I said the first test was a

Anyway the start of a fantastic series of cricket and some serious Kudos to the Aussies whop were far more competitive than anyone[ I assume including most of them] thought they would be

Should be an immense series cannot wait

Still playing above their average but I still cannot see them winning it though I would be way less confident on a white wash so yes well done Australia some excellent performances from them especially the number 10 stand

They have been far better than expected bowling and England batters far worse
