    Finally, some sound advice!

Not OTT at all – in fact I’d expect it to less than that given the stats you have are for inpatient admissions, not just people seen in A&E – ie extremely serious cases.

For the love of god, can this futile argument be brought to a close?

Big hitters are in effect. This’ll go on like a lit oil well.

Aledust – you really are doing the online equivalent of putting your fingers in your ears and going ” la la la la la”

You give stupid advice a proven by people experiences and show no willingness to see anyone elses viewpoint – just th standard entitled dog owners viewpoint.

I’ll ignore the lame insult, I expect more mate . However I am starting to get slightly concerned about how your rage completely blinds your self awareness. Are you aware quite how ironic the above is coming from you?

You apologised for your behaviour earlier in the thread, but have come back and repeated it. Did you not mean it, or has the anger taken over?

Top trolling there angeldust, good work. 🙂

Always kick the dog, especially if the owner is in sight; only way they’ll learn.

Dogs will attack (and have killed) a sleeping infant, get in quick with the boot of dominance.

How very middle class of you 🙂

I trust it was a handmade, artisnal, organic croissant and not some old crap from Tesco… 😉

It doesn’t matter how the croissant was made as long as it didn’t get near a toaster. Have we learnt nothing in eleven pages?

any one else think breaking a friendly dogs jaw so it cant get a bit of drool on you is acceptable. i dont. if ai really thought a dog was going to attack it would get the full force of my boot but a bit of drool and annoyance is unwanted but only a complete **** would kick it in the face

I think that’s a misrepresentation of tj’s point, and I think we need to look at this whole debate as shades of grey, not black and white. Sorry about the cliches.

Of course it’s not acceptable fallsofalot, you would have to be psychotic to think otherwise.

Complete lack of punctuation is also reprehensible though.

You’ll just have to learn to accept the fact that while most folk wouldn’t do this, you can’t tell which ones would. The safest option is therefore to keep your dog under close control – on a lead.

You know when you walk in to a pub stone cold sober, only to find everyone inside is already pissed as farts and waffling along madly?

    That.

Oh come now, just cos you’re a bit late. I’m shure you can catch up with a bit of a sprint start. 😉

anglesdust – what I apologised was for being intemperate and borderline offensive – not for making my point and pointing out how stupid your attitude is

You on the other had show the classic entitled dog owners attitude – the dog can do what it likes no matter how inconvenient or unpleasant for anyone else – you have also been highly offensive and personal.

First thing is a gentle push away with the foot / tap under the jaw shouting at the mutt trying to click its teeth together. If it comes back for a second go it will be kicked hard.

But of course yo want to misrepresent me to prove that you are right Pretty sad really and your lack of empathy shows right thru

I am not angry – you interpret as this so you can tell yourself its me that is in the wrong. You are being very offensive and unpleasant

And FYI angledust – I am completely fulfilled by my job and do it from choice. I have had senior roles in the past but stepped down because I am very good as a shop floor worker and can act as an exemplar to others. The biggest job I had I had 180 staff reporting to me and sole 24/7 managerial responsibility

Yes, agreed. Then you came back and did it again, as if you had forgotten the first time round.

But of course yo want to misrepresent me to prove that you are right

Again, irony. Isn’t that the only thing you have contributed here? In fact isn’t that what you are known for, and the reason why you were banned indefinitely? How desperate are you that you spend so much time on here after being banned for years? You make this place much more entertaining (and frustratingly mad!), but it’s not really possible to have an intelligent discussion with you.

I’ve said this numerous time already, but you don’t seem to be able to accept it. I keep my dogs under good close control, but in the real world, not everyone does the same. Yes, these people are selfish. That’s the real world for you. My solution is to work around these people, rather than stick to my (misguided) principles like a bitter old man who is never going to be happy, because other people won’t do what you think they should.

scotroutes i have 2 dogs one is a 12 stone great dane and can run at 30+ mph, over 6 foot on his back legs so not many take a swing at him. if he was to show signs of agression i would have to have him put to sleep for obvious reasons. other dog is a staff cross with american bulldog. never shown signs of agression but mad as a box of frogs so is never let off the lead.

No need to justify anything to me, but in the other thread I referred to, you came across as anything but ‘fulfilled’ in terms of your career. It’s difficult to keep track when you argue black is white one minute, then change your mind to suit the argument.

Angledust – you are offensive and judgemental – you have thrown numerous personal insults my way. All because you are incapable of seeing another viewpoint

I assume this is a new log in for yo as you seem to know so much about me. I suppose I should be flattered that yo stalk me like this Who were you before?

first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

You keep saying this. Are you looking for sympathy, and/or is this another tactic because you can’t stand being wrong? For balance I could list the personal insults you have aimed at me in this thread (it will be a long post)? Quite happy to waste 5 minutes of my life doing that?

This is why we need shadow banning.

…and proper pms, quote function, formatting, edit function, html5 embedding, image upload, proper mobile platform etc etc
