For me a cover version should be different to the original – it may not end up being better but if you’re just going to perform the song in the same way – why bother?

if you’re talking about nirvana’s unplugged version of man who sold the world that is pony. Cobain cocks the solo up and sounds like he’s really not interested. I’m was a massive fan of nirvana (and i’m just as big a fan of Bowie) and i so was disappointed that nirvana even did an unplugged, as I just knew it would be shit.
