My bloody daughter decided to stick play-do on the TV for some stupid reason.

Got most of it off but the screen is now smeary – any ideas how to de-smear it?

Wouldn’t be as bad if the TV wasn’t less than 3 weeks old!!! 👿

A 50:50 mix of Isopropanol and distilled water is very good. I have access to industrial quantities at work and I have a pump spray bottle here at home for our two LCD tellies and it works perfectly with a microfibre cloth.

Depending on the screen, you could ruin the coating with alcohol. Get some proper screen wipes.

Brillo pad or scouring brush will sort that out

NO NO NO That’s not the right way at all!!!!!

The brillo pad will get clogged. You need a nice handful of gravel first to get rid of the main smears then use some hair bleach and some swarfega. That’ll do the job then a nice bit of wet and dry to polish up!
