This is nothing new, my memory’s not great but a few that spring to mind.

Was it the Scandal V2 that they had to design a different (bolt on) rear dropout as the smaller sizes wouldn’t accept a caliper inside the rear triangle as intended.

Of course that’s if the holes were not quite right so you couldn’t bolt it on… if your scandal actually came with dropouts… or bolts…

Oh, and chainsuck-gate. Bikes dont cause chainsuck, but when you design them with no clearance the result was a mangled frame. Is it a coincidence all the bikes Brant went on to design bikes had BIG chain-clearance 😆

I ordered a complete XLS on monday morning. 3-5 days build queue says the website. Recieved an order confirmation today saying its due to be built on the 8th december.

Must admit they are tempting me with the CX build your owns, as I quite like a nice bike build. Shame my work changed to the Halfords cyclescheme as they don’t take them.

Didn’t they do a pretty good offer over xmas last year, I seem to remember very very nearly buying an exorcet and only just resisting.

Still need a TT bike too….

As for the yoyo pricing, basically just decide what you are happy to pay and be patient. Almost like an auction!
