I have pulled the trigger on a stunning rocketmax frame with 150mm ttravel.

I’ll transfer some parts over from the Jeffsy and flog that, the Fox Float Factory forks on that are on the Jeffsy are 140mm travel.

    Will I die?

Will be fine, just ride backwards

You can get a 150 air spring for most Fox 34s (guessing that’s what you have) although they’re not the stiffest at that length

You will die! and you HA will be steeper by .5 so will be going against trend and thus mocked as a gravel rider on STW.

Ran my 150mm genius with a 140mm 36 that I’d taken off my spark. Its been my favourite bike ever. I’m rebuilding it and will run at 150 and maybe it’ll be even more amazing!

Just put a longer air spring in your 34…..

Although the better answer is buy one of the Lyriks that are on offer at the moment…..

Does anyone (slight hijack) reckon it’s all good to fit 51mm offset 29er forks Set at max of 140mm to a frame designed with 42mm offset 150mm forks or would this feel / be weird to geo?

    Thanks

Otherwise I’ll have spare set of really mint DVO Sapphires for sale

They are a solid set of real plush forks but I want to try out the chunkier RS 35mm ones

    The 140mm 36s I ran in that 150 frame were 51mm offset.
The genius in its first year used 51mm offset then model year 2 it moved to 44mm.
Partly I suppose because fox didn’t have a 29er fork with 27.5 crown steer as a sku in 2018…or it hadn’t been made into the next big thing by then.
So, I reckon it’ll be just fine.
