Oh I know where there are spares………

But if you have to ask “how much” then you can’t afford them…..
That and they probably won’t sell them to you…

You can make anything if you’ve got a big enough shed.

    oh wow……

Lusted after one of those when I was a young man with a motorbike 😆

    I LOVE the form-following-function-minimalism of race bikes, particularly the 80’s and 90’s 500cc two-strokes.

There aren’t that many spares for Hawker Hunters either. People still manage to keep them flying, you just have to have the drawings and someone who will make the parts for you – which costs a fortune.

They also have Freddie Spencer’s RS250 and 500 from the year he won both World Championships. Will only sell as a pair and POA. I reckon 50 quid should do it 😀

I’d prefer one of his dads bikes but Jesus that would look nice as a show piece in a house.

Very nice, two strokes make the best motorcycles, I’d have a 500 Doohan era screamer if I won the lottery and there were any that hadn’t been crushed.

    Please Mr Honda.

As a side note I knew a guy who bought one of the privateer NSRV twin 500’s (I’d have one of those as well). He was a track day organizer, and when it ran properly it used to scare the willies out of him and he was no slouch around a track.

by the gods that’s lovely 😀

the biggest bike i’ve ridden is a yam dt 125 (although i did have a quick go on my friends yam xs500 with him on the back.

people who can ride one of those beasts are crazy (but brilliant).

HRC always had a reputation for crushing factory kit, so I am guessing that must be Freddie selling. He is in the pictures.

Freddie is my GOAT for doing the double. It did break him though.

Haven’t Padgetts in Batley still got one or two Harris framed ones knocking about?

Padgetts have a lot more than that tucked away 😉

Freddie? Nah it’ll be King Kenny clearing his loft out of the kids ‘toys’.

It’s what my folks did, about 20 years after I’d left home. 😉

Its years since I’ve been to their place, have they still got brand new 70’s bikes still sat around?
