Morning all

<span style=”font-size: 0.8rem;”>I’d like to get a carbon fork with a one piece design for my 29 HT and looking at the multitude of chinese options available on eBay and online.

I’m assuming that amongst all the many companies there are some that are a bit more tried and tested then others so wondered if anyone has any real experience of a particular one which hadn’t killed them in the face yet?

I’ve been using a “Toseek” carbon 29er fork from eBay for several months now. It’s not killed me in the face yet, and I have been giving it some stick.

I have a set from exotic carbon. Mine are the carbon tubes but I think they do the one piece ones as well. It’s worthwhile to check both their own website and their eBay shop as sometimes the price is different

Carbon forks from China or not from China: always a bit gambling.

Soooo difficult to crank out constant quality with carbon parts. And a fork which fails…

Canyon: they have a CT scanning machine for all the carbon forks. Only way to detect quality issues. The Canyon carbon forks are from China as well.

Hope others do the same. No idea how to find out so…

I’ve had 5 carbon forks from China now…. All different manufacturers, all different types. A 29r, road, cx, fat and 27.5. Not had any major (ie failed) issues with any.

However the 29r fork needing molding as the rotor bolts buzzed on the brake mount (a little filling of the carbon was required) and the steerer tubes on both the cx and 27.5 forks were extremely tight to the point where I needed to mod the headset top caps to get them to fit…..

Any recommendations for a CX disk fork with plenty of clearance?
