As above, can’t find anywhere locally with a good stock in various sizes!

The CRC route is fine if you have the disposable cash to buy a few options or wait for the returns to go through.

Evans do a price match with online and carry good stock I’ve found.

+1 Rutland. Don’t often use them myself but they do have a reasonable range of stuff in stock usually.

Agree with Rutland. The main shop or Grafham are well stocked (not been to their others).

Thanks everyone, live 3 miles from Rutland water, no stocks of decent pads-plenty of 5 grand bikes though!

I’ll have to take a gamble on CRC.

I guess there is not much call for gnar products like knee/elbow pads in the mountainous terrain of East Anglia.

🙂 – we travel a lot for gnar and use the local tracks for training.

Since when is Rutland Water in East Anglia?

Anyway, I had my most serious mtb injury on a flat track not far from there 😀

East Anglia, East Midlands. Splitting hairs when it comes to gnar.

Try http://Www.c6bikes.co.uk . Just outside of Cambridge and stock RaceFace pads, etc.

Make a weekend out of it and head to the Lakes – picked up my last ones in KMB (on a trip from Australia 😉 )

    Maybe Brink Bikes?;

Can’t say I’ve actually been there but looks very “mountain-bikey” and could be combined with a trip to Chicksands bike park as it’s a couple of minutes down the road.

Cheers again everyone. Off to chickie today so will give Brinks a try before I go mail order.

Brink is a great shop, but it’s small so the range is fairly limited, you might find what you need though. You’ll have found out by now cyclelife.

I’ve come off plenty of times in the East Midlands, hence I bought some knee pads. 😆
I should add it was mostly on winter night rides. I’m not that useless.

Back to the OPs point. You can order what you like from CRC and return it for nothing.
