Just cleaned my jockey wheels, popped the seals off the bearings cleaned all the crud out degreased the dried them and they are spinning wonderfully.
Now do i pack the bearings with a waterproof grease then pop the seals back in or just lube them with a bit of wet conditions lube, or a bit of a teflon based spray?
Im in favour of packing them with some nice fresh waterproof grease,…

if they’re proper sealed cartridge bearings then grease them . otherwise if just a plain sleeve i’d use any lube within reason .

If they are cartridge or XT Ceramic bearings just fill them with grease and squeeze the seal back on.

If they are the (cheapo SLX etc) bushed type then any grease/oil will quickly be lost.

Get some new cartridge bearings for approx £10 from Dotbike:
