Pancake day soon?

At least with Brexit we can get back to British pancakes instead of that foreign crépe.

Why is it if i bake batters in the oven they’re yorkshire puddings but if i fry them they’re pancakes? I mean beef is still beef regardless of whether it’s roast beef, or beef stew or anything else.

Except when it’s beef tomato. Then it isn’t beef.
