    From my experience of Russian ciggies in the early 90’s rough would be a more accurate description.
    They were ridiculously cheap though.

    These are the ones we got when i did a vso in Romania in 1992. Assos.
    But during a day off when wandering about one of the towns in the north myself and another chap went into the local lottery office and bought a ticket, where you tear open a small envelope and it tells you what you’ve won.
    I won a very small packet of some sort of hand rolled cigarette and after trying one, placed the remainder on a small ledge and walked quickly away from it. 😆 Utterly disgusting, I’ve no idea what was rolled up in them, certainly didnt seem like tobacco.

    Not sure which will kill you sooner – Glorious Five Year Plan filter tipped Tupolev Frontal Aviation cut cigarettes or the Tu-144 itself.

    My biggest memory of Romania in the 90s was Snagov cigarettes
