Top quality car seat covers

Further to my transit thread, I am now looking a t seat covers due to multi use as a family/dog/mtb vehicle.
If I spend 20k on a van, I’m happy sapending a decent wedge on seat covers.
Googling reveals lots of 19.99 sets, but nothing that looks really good – I am looking for v tough, waterproof, long life, well fitted.

I’m having similar ‘issues’ in my van. Most covers are slippery too which ain’t great for the hound.

These people seem good.
I’ve got them in my car, nice and tough and a grippy cloth. They don’t play nicely with isofix in the back of my Kuga, but nothing a very sharp knife couldn’t sort.

Do you want covers you can take on and off depending on how muddy you are? Ive never found any particularly good ones that fit that criteria. Even waterproof ones ceased to be waterproof once you’re sat on them (bit like jackets are waterproof upto the point where they’re completely wet through).

I did have some cheap (but not waterproof) ones in my last car and from the front you couldn’t tell they weren’t original, it was only round the back where they obviously covered the fold up tables, pockets etc that it was obvious.

They were machine washable when they got filthy, and the watermarks on the seat came out with a bucket of water and carpet shampoo with a sponge, some elbow grease and hoovered off with the knackered Henry.

No I want to fit and forget, maybe just remove a few times a year when we visit the olds. I am not a habitual car cleaner…

I’ve one from these people, the quilted one. I got this one as I have a boot liner from the same people (same material) and it seems to be standing up well to two filthy spaniels and a pretty wet autumn.

They can be made to fit your particular seat, so mine for example will allow the side airbags to operate still.

I have a full set of these in both my Transit Custom Sport and Wildtrak.
They fit well, nice and tight to the profile of the seat and look as good as a seat cover could look and are 100% waterproof.

Try GTE custom covers, albeit they’re more of a leather look thing than waterproof type.

I can see the point in protecting the seats in a lease van, or if you’re bothered about resale value.

But its a bit like those people who leave the plastic film on sofas?
