This is a soft tail, which gives you a max. of 32mm rear travel, without the need of pivots. This keeps the weight down and the titanium frame can handle such flex with easy. I have never gotten it to travel 32mm, maybe 5-6mm at the most, given that I am only riding roads.

Would like to give the gearing a go but not for £4300, ouch! 😯

I wonder what it ”actually” cost him as well as the fact that something much more pleasing to the eye could have been achieved for similar.

One wonders how a seller called Japanese treasure hunters who sells Japanese artifacts which are sent from Japan and appears to be japanese stores their commuter bike in Cork in Ireland ?

What’s the gearing? I’m guessing hydraulic of some kind.

Am getting déjà vu with this one. Sure I’ve seen it before.

    Wonder what it cost?

What is this bike? Hmm, about 2 years of building, changing and trying parts until it finally fit. The result is the most responsive, stiff and comfortable bike I have ever ridden, costing me in excess of 10 grand.

£10k? Thats really quite sad if true.

CFS definitely been on eBay and linked on here before.

To be fair I’ve been watching a Cervelo R3 that’s been constantly relisted since July 2014…

Relisted and didn’t occur to him it might be overpriced!

Probably is 10k, shit as it looks it’s super expensive stuff! Acros shifting makes XTR look cheap, German:A forks are pricey, Brake Force One brakes and so on.

Gopping. But that’s probably not a wholly unfair price.

Sadly there is a lot of money there it’s just not what many people want.
Di2 has probably done for hydro gears and soft tails never seem to have taken off in the uk

    But it is fugly imo

I’d buy it, simply because the brakes allow for hard action……

The listing on star bikes is a little naff given they are very expensive

Its only been on the road…..have you seen the state of irish roads, you need more than 32mm of travel for them. I am out.

I was kind of thinking that, on the basis of what it all cost. Not an unfair price. But not a price he’s likely to get. I would probably have been interested in some of that kit – a year or so ago before it was completely superseded by stuff like Di2.

The Acros set up is still lighter than Di2 IIRC, just looks horrible because of all the hoses which have nowhere to go.
