Elf – I like to comment on threads where I feel I have some valid knowledge and experience.
Unlike you, I do not feel the need to pontificate on every single Forum thread.
As you know, I have been to many Forum Rides and, indeed, organised many myself. I am also a mum to now adult kids and therefore perfectly entitled to voice my opinion that this is not the place for children.
Why, you yourself admit that your language is colourful. Frankly I would not want a child of mine (even adult child) to be riding with you! These are stressful times we live in and STW’ers really need to chill out. If that includes behaving badly by swearing, farting, drinking etc., so be it.
Ooh, won’t somebody think of the children!!! Let’s wrap them all up in cotton wool and cover their delicate little ears and eyes so they won’t have to see what a horrible nasty place the World truly is….
I’m so glad I grew up in a little village where everyone is nice and cheerful and kind to each other. I’d hate to have grown up in a nasty big smelly horrible city where there are drugs and crimes and swearings all the time. Think what an unhinged and deranged person I’d be now, If I had! 😯
