Yes, some great racing in the middle bit.
All very confused now – there was an incident with Sutil going off the track but there was then a secondary serious crash which no-one seems clear on. Same place, sounds like a car went into the truck that was recovering Sutil’s car. All very chaotic and confused though.

Car hit the jcb? Hope he get out the med centre. Reminds me of the female tester who crashed.

Yep, sounds like it was Bianchi arriving at the scene of the Sutil crash and hitting a tractor according to twitter. Bianchi at medical centre and helicopter preparing to take him to hospital.

The messages from race control suggest that Bianchi has gone off at Turn 7. That’s Dunlop, where Sutil crashed, but we haven’t seen the Marussia on screen.

FIA press officer Matteo Bonciani has given a short statement about Bianchi’s condition:

“Driver is not conscious, he has been sent to the hospital by ambulance because the helicopter cannot go in these conditions. Further updates will follow – for the moment we cannot say anything. We will keep you updated as fast as we can.”

It almost looked like some car going on to the left of the picture when they showed the sutil accident scene before. Hoping for some good news but I fear it not be, given all the radio silence about the incident….. 🙁

I saw that trying to find updates. Looks like the car went in backwards into the rear of the tractor destroying the top air intake.
