We did a couple of runs of those, 100 at a time. With a merino wool version in between. £250 a go and they all went.

Hopefully something we can rework for this time next year. We’ve had some amazing support from uk fabric suppliers – particulary Hainsworths and Halleys (wool and waxed cotton) giving us access to some amazing fabrics to do some really great items coming soon.

Anyone else remember Michael Foot wearing one to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph?

…and the pockets were the perfect size for a cd walkman and a small collection of Ned’s and NewFADS cds from HMV.

Never had a CD Walkman as they skipped. Aiwa or Panasonic titanium chassis Walkman clone with mixtapes of Ned’s, sugar, charlatans, Mondays and they were recorded mainly from CDs bought in RPM when they had their shop opposite Haynarket during free lesson periods. As well you know. 😘

Vic and Bob loved them Donald and Davie stott .
