I didn't watch the whole clip, but why did they come to England, Chillie isn't that bad of a place.
Posted 20 minutes ago
Well the "whole clip" is 1.35 minute long……..are you sure you have time to hear the answer ?
Or have you already gone ?
LHSFree MemberTime to
getkeep the idiotstories out of power.Corrected it for you! 😉
toomanybikesFree MemberI'm voting tory in the morning
ding dong the bells are gonna chimeTalkemadaFree MemberSo, Hora; if the Tories win, how do you think they are goingto magically transform Britain?
Come on, let's hear your thoughts. A proper, intelligent, well-reasoned argument, if you're capable of it. Rather than just slagging off Labour all the time like you do. I've never read anything of yours on the subject where you've done owt but spout right-wing bollocks straight out of whatever rag you read, so let's see if you are actually capable of producing something intelligent. See if you're not just a loud and useless piece of fat after all… 😉
tracknickoFree Memberas i see it… pretty much EVERYONE that is voting tory is doing so in a reactionary, 'Labour are shite thus we'll get them out' style. Quoting wars, economy etc.
has anyone stopped to think that they arer all roughly the **** same? conservatives wont be better. they will be the same. or worse.
all this 'time to get the idiots out' is bollocks. you will be voting more idiots in, have a flick through the who's who in each party. each party is peppered with idiots.
votiong gordon brown out because grredy banks in the state flattened the worlds economy is **** stupid. at least come up with one good reason to vote tory other than 'its better than what we've got now'
TalkemadaFree MemberNo, Hora. I want to see your ideas, not some reactionary right-wing bollocks.
Your ideas. About how the Tories are going to fix everything. Are you capable of coming up with any on your own?
Thought not. Must be all that spongy fat inside your brain… 😉
tracknickoFree Memberso pretty much what i said then.
full on tory supporter as a result of not liking the current situation.
and what would the tories have done given the last 4 years/economic downturn/bank collapse/failure of greece etc. etc???
who cares right? because at the moment their campaign is 'we are just like you! we dont like europe! gordon brown is an idiot! the country has too much debt!'
great set of values.
horaFree MemberTalkemada, dear fellow. You think 'as you were' is the way forward don't you? We approaching a trillion of national debt. Three times higher than Greece's national debt and you are saying 'keep the same party'.
I don't think it warrants me entering a further dialogue with you on the matter unless you are intending to vote for any party but Labour?
Whats Browns election slogan? We need to create jobs to keep the economy growing. No Gordon, not public-sector linked jobs you idiot.
kimbersFull Memberhora if you are trying to compare us to greece you obviously dont understand much about finance
our economy is much stronger than theirs, finance, manufacturing, pharamaceutical we wee all over them
they also have the lowest tax revenue collection in europe
taxes are tiny compared to here and as nobody especially those who can afford accountanats or to bribe the taxman pay substantial amounts of taxfunnily enough its the tories who think they can resolve the debt crisis by just cutting services and not raising NI and letting the rich off inheritance tax etc
i wonder how that will turn out
TalkemadaFree Memberhora if you are trying to compare us to greece you obviously dont understand much about finance
In fairness, Hora doesn't really understand much about anything…
Still waiting for your thoughts on how the Tories are going to magically transform everything, Hora.
I suspect it will be a very, very long wait…
tracknickoFree Memberhow can it be madness when you have no concept at all of the alternative.
all your saying is i've tried x and it was shite so im going for y.
you have no idea how bad they could be…
horaFree MemberWhat I'm saying is you 'all' feel that Labour has done a good job and will continue a good job.
It strikes me as fear of the unknown or are you going to bang on about under Thatcher again.
LHSFree MemberWhat Hora doesn't realise is that most of us have already experienced Y and they were rubbish, so we went to X, which lets be honest have done a pretty good job and in comparison to Y are amazing. Why would we go back to Y when we know how amazing rubbish they were.
Z has a nice haircut mind you.
tracknickoFree Memberbut i should imagine your reason (most people's reason) for not voting lib dem is quoted as 'fear of the unknown…'
voting tory as a result of not liking the way things are in the economy stinks of people voting ukip/bnp because they cant get a job because of 'all the immigrants'
JunkyardFree Memberhora you muppett you have not once said why you think the lot you havevoted for will be better have you so again why will the tories make it better? because labour are crap is not a good enough answer.
Vote for change I suspect as empyty and vacuous as your non argumentNone of us think anyone could have done a great job under the circumstances but if you really think Dave and George will suddenly eradicate the debt and the borrowing you really are living in cloiud cukoo land ..too compare us to greece is like comparing you to Steve Peat after all you both ride bikes.
LHSFree MemberMore like comparing Jeff Capes to Angelina Jolie as they both have nipples.
TalkemadaFree Member😆
Somehow, I think Hora secretly revels in his status as STW Resident Village Idiot!
You are funny though Hora, and never deliberately nasty or malicious, so carry on, it's entertaining!
Hora can't even decide what bike's right for him, and they let him loose with a vote??? 😯
tracknickoFree Memberthe problem for us here (and by us it seems i mean team 'not hora')
is that a good portion of the nation is currently thinking just like him.voting blindly for 'change'
vote for change, im angry lets have a change, change change change…
but change to what? they (and i) have no **** clue what a blue government would mean these days…
m_cozzyFree MemberOoooh the socialists are out in force here, everyone must be equal, the state owes you a living, redistribute the wealth etc
Makes me sick. You want a nice life, work hard, no make that bloody hard, get a good job & screw everone else is my view on life.TalkemadaFree MemberOh dear…
Nurse? He's got out of his room again. 🙄
Sad, really, isn't it?
JunkyardFree Memberwe know you BNP voting thick moron – you know they want to nationalise things dont you to share the wealth aboutor did you just see the racism and that was enough for you?
I assume you think the Queen and the Duke of Westminster worked very hard for their inherited wealth then 🙄
IanMunroFree MemberWorking really really hard and screwing everyone else sounds a pretty horrid life to me, but heh if it works for you and keeps you happy go for it!
molgripsFree MemberWe approaching a trillion of national debt. Three times higher than Greece's national debt and you are saying 'keep the same party'
One question – just because labour were in power when that happened, why does that make it their fault?
backhanderFree MemberThere's a fair bit of bullying here. Hora is not the most diplomatic of people but is entitled to his views and they are as legitimate as everyone elses. Not done himself any favours by linking to the mail etc.
I dont think Labour have done a good job, time for someone else to have a turn. I've voted tory due to local policies but I won't be upset if the libdems get in overall.as i see it… pretty much EVERYONE that is voting tory is doing so in a reactionary, 'Labour are shite thus we'll get them out' style. Quoting wars, economy etc.
WTF is wrong with that? What could be worse than starting an illegal war? Are you comfortable with the way labour sent our armed forces into Iraq and the outcomes?
Maybe we're not confident in mr darlings abilities as chancellor. Osborne may not be any better but there's only one way to find out, and I don't think can be much worse.tracknickoFree Membershit situation i guess then…
vote out the current leaders as you are so angry with them, only to vote back in the party you last voted out because everyone was so angry with them.
i guess its cyclical, and ultimately just shows how useless the whole process is.
what i was trying to say, was that voting out a party for 'change' and for 'better' is more than likely to result in more of the same, and hence is a bizarre reason to get rid of party – particularly when in doing so you vote in a party that everyone had an equal if not higher level of hatred for less than two decades ago…
more tax is coming, things are going to get worse before they get anywhere near better. no matter what happens tonight/tomorrow.
horaFree MemberI only hit on a few quotes on google. I could spend a couple of years on this and draw up a Thesis for you with the pro's and con's of both sides but I'd rather earn a wage.
http://www.statistics.gov.uk/cci/nugget.asp?id=206
More generally, the public sector recorded deficits between 1991/92 and 1997/98 before moving into surplus in 1998/99. Deficits have been recorded since 2002/03.
When Labour took office in 1997, debt was £350 billion.
Alistair Darling announced plans to borrow another £700 billion over the next five years.
Somehow, I think Hora secretly revels in his status as STW Resident Village Idiot!
I don't know about that. I'm working class, put myself through Uni and worked in any job as long as it was work. I've even worked in two McDonalds to pay the bills whilst I studied as I couldn't face being professional student and not work. My bestfriend once worked on the bins briefly at his lowest ebb.
So when someone puts down his books for a second and makes comments about others lower than him I feel thats disingenuous.
I don't look at people with more money and think 'you greedy bastards' and I don't think someone owes me something either.
Therefore I chose to vote who I want to vote for and I don't feel I have to explain it in detail all day long. Don't we have this subject daily with alot of the same characters?
I vote for whoever I feel will benefit this country.
My only weakness is I am too nice in life. Peace.
chewkwFree MemberOnce in every few years the country needs detoxification otherwise the power becomes too intoxicating to those in power so a vote against them is needed to ensure their heads do not get too big.
Labour has been in power for a while now so it's time for them to move on and let others have a go.
🙄
backhanderFree Memberperhaps tracknicko, but if a party has not performed well (in my eyes), they don't deserve another term. A period of quiet reflection, if you will.
[/quote]i guess its cyclical, and ultimately just shows how useless the whole process is.Agreed but I think it should be cyclical, it's the only way any will improve. A comfortable position is often a complacent one.
It's just down to picking the best of a bad bunch IMHO.
I agree that the previous boundaries between the big 3 are more blurred now. New labour are no more liberal than the tories, just like to be seen to be. All have policies I both like and dislike.TalkemadaFree MemberThat's all well and good, Hora, but where's your proposal on how the Tories are going to fix the problem? You know, what I asked you for hours ago? All you've done is continue to bang on about the National Debt, without actually coming up with any viable way of reducing it. A bit like the Tories.
I've cleaned toilets, swept up rubbish, worked in a meat packing plant, all sorts of not particularly nice jobs. As have loads of people. What's your point? Personally, I want for nothing now, but am concerned about how many other people struggle to make ends meet, because of a system that is skewed towards rewarding those who choose to pursue making money, rather than helping their fellow citizens. Your attacks on Public Sector workers are ignorant and insulting. Many of your comments and statements are pretty ignorant of the real facts, let's be honest. Mostly load of populist rhetoric. Do you ever stop to really think something through?
You come up with fatuous statements, but seldom seem to have the wherewithal to back them up.
And you wonder why you get stick? 🙄
FWIW; I reckon you're probably a pretty sound person in 'real life'. I'd have no problems having a pint with you.
As long as you got a **** round in too; Binners has told me about your fiscal policies….. 😉
CoyoteFree MemberI'm voting tory in the morning
ding dong the bells are gonna chimeYour vote won't count after 10:00pm.
tracknickoFree Memberthink we probably agree deep down backhander. im more inclined to give LD a shot this time though.
backhanderFree MemberI was tempted, but even after trying I just couldn't find much about my local LD candidate.
To be fair to him, the toryboy has been campaining on a few local issues and seems quite in touch with the area. I did send him an email that said in so many words "you got my vote this time, if you get in you better not have lied to us or f*ck everything up" I wanted to put the "c" word on the end but was concerned that a CPO for my back garden would come winging my way!tracknickoFree Memberha ha ha. that seems a good solution.
'ere mate… im voting for you, so don't make me regret it. or ill nut ya!'
perfect.
