Tax refund/ dodgy link?

Ok so I’m claiming a tax refund filled the form yesterday online.

Today get a text on my mobile with a link to a web site to claim back my owned Tax the problem is on the web site the text links too all the other locations E.G “home” etc are not working and the info they want is pretty much everything you need to be me E.G NI number, driving license number, Mother maiden name?Bank card details?

So I do wonder if it’s legit but I want my Tax refund.

The refund amount is at the bottom of the form but greyed out.

Is it legit? Anyone else experienced this HMRC operate that quick?

I’d be wary. I get loads of phishing emails about this. Log in from the hmrc website directly

Check the URL, is it the real site address?

There was a known HMRC scam going round a couple of years ago, there’s an article about it on their website. Dunno if yours is the same thing but, if you have to ask…!
