So, plenty of talk over the last few weeks about a new era of Scottish rugby. I personally thought that it was a bit premature to be too optimistic after beating an utter shambles of an Argie team and getting beaten by NZ second XV. Today, they seem to be back to themselves, dropping the ball as soon as they get near the oppo 22.

TD just seen this. Beers in the stadium and outside aren’t too expensive (about normal London prices although they charge a £1 for a souvenir cup) it’s against the rules but hip flasks are the norm. I tend to do my drinking a 20 min walk from the stadium as I prefer a proper glass and decently kept beer.

Much better 2nd 40 from the Scots. I’ve been pretty impressed with Finn Russell this Autumn…..I’d love to see Farrel try some dancing when he gets subbed 🙂

You reckon? Ford showed what a proper 10 does, and Farrell was a mess at 12. He should go, but probably won’t. I thought Watson and May chased well, obviously in the plan, Brown played well as did Morgan who was heavily marked/running into massive traffic. Lawes looks like he can’t br arsed. The rest average, too many mistakes and still in inability to impose ourselves. We should have scored twice in the last twenty but instead camp in our own half.

Yep, agreed. Biggar was immense in defense, Hibbard was his usual loony tunes mad tackler, Desperate Dan in the centre (Admit it, they’ve never been seen in the same room) was very strong overall. Some great, great rugby, especially the line speed from the likes of AWJ. But yes, nothing to be that happy about.

As an aside, did I really hear the announcer at the Irish game asking/reminding the fans to respect the kicker? I hope not! I love that their crowds don’t boo the kicker, it’s what SHOULD happen everywhere. I hope the disease hasn’t spread there as well.
