How do their bibtight size up?

I’m 6 foot and 12 stone, average build.

    You’ll likely need XL…

Most of their stuff does come up quite small. The bib tights seem a bit more generous though. I’ve got XLs and they fit well. 6’2″ and 14 stone or so.

I think I’ll risk a Large. Have Castelli bibshorts in Large and they are ‘fitted’ but they are suppose to be tight!

Whatever size you are in Castelli you should be the same in Sportful – they use the same size & fit models…

XL, unless its their FitPro range then you might need to go a size bigger.

6,2″ and 73kg’s and wear a lot of their kit in L or XL, or M for racing

As they’re Italian you’ll need to go a size up. Sportful generally make good stuff but I’ve found that the pad in their shorts is way to far to the back for me resulting in padding over hanging the rear of the saddle and a definite lack of padding in the perineum area.

    sportful slightly cheaper

Very slightly, doesn’t seem to be that much in it really with their higher end stuff. Though it does seem that Castelli are increasingly pushing themselves up a notch to make more room for Sportful.

Really rating Sportful kit at the moment. Got their R&D Wind jersey recently and it’s a great winter top, fine with a short sleeve base for single digit temps.

Oh and 6ft and about 73kg here, fairly slim build, and I’m an M in their kit.

yeah, I have loads of their stuff and really rate it. Latest addition to my collection is this jersey[/url] which is a great piece of kit

In regards to the seatpad it’s probably because they are more aimed at ‘road’ fit rather than mtb. They actually have a line of Mtb shorts in their Karpos clothing range that are pretty good, with an mtb specific pad, but unfortunately at the moment you can’t get them in the UK (though you could order them from an online shop in France, Germany, Spain or of course Italy!) You can see the mtb stuff on their website – sportful.com/karpos

Same parent company as Castelli, similar tech just a bit of a difference in style and design of the products and yes quite often a little cheaper!

Ah just assumed the OP was on about road kit. Does anyone on here still ride MTB? 🙂

6’1″ and 15st so XXL for me, same as Castelli. Must admit that I am preferring Sportful stuff more and more over the former!
