Speedy Kindle help please.

F.I.L is going into hospital tomorrow. All of a sudden his Kindle is not holding a charge or connecting to wifi.
Turned it off and on with 40 second hold , makes no difference.
It’s an early version.
As a plan B can we put his books on my kindle? I’ve only got 2 books on mine which I’ve read so losing my stuff is not a problem.

You should be able to de-register yours and then re-register it to him

I think that will then give him access to his Amazon books but not others

If your talking about a family member

Log F.I.L onto your Kindle. It will add there books, yours will still be there

Or create a family account thing. Both devices will then have all of both accounts

We have 4 kindles in the house and none of them will connect to our wifi anymore.
All other devices are fine and password is correct.
Any idea what’s going on?

Nope, nothing’s changed since I last downloaded a book 3 weeks ago.
