Nothing too flashy but I’ve always liked the bass in Alkaline Trio, loads of nice little fills.

A few Primus videos have been posted, but Tommy the Cat has a classic bass line. Tom Waits does some of the vocals, and Les Claypool’s bartender arm extensions in the clip are awesome.
