Winter is definitely on its way. -3C in Carrbridge(just up the road) overnight and I had to scrape the car windscreen this morning.

Bad luck for anyone living in Haslemere.

I had to scrape my windscreen yesterday morning a well. and I’m not in the heart of the Cairngorms, I’m less than 20 miles from the coast(/Aberdeen)..

Someone must have some.

I was up Cairngorm and Macdui two days ago. No snow, just lots of mist and wind chill below freezing….

I had to defrost my freezer a few weeks ago.

Predicting snow in November? Even I could come up with that one.

theweatheroutlook suggests that there might be a blocking pattern in a few weeks that might make it a bit chilly. But like a sensible forecaster he says it’s too early to be talking about snowmageddon.

I predict a big dump around 7th November…. 🙄
