My bike retailed at £4k (but didn’t cost me that to build), has recently had over a grand spent on it, is carbon, but nooo way would I class it as a superbike. Nice yes, super no.

It has some XT on it and a big S on the headtube for a start!

I posted this on the other thread too. Special edition colour, one of only three in the country according to the importer 8) I’d say it ticks all the boxes. The picture doesn’t really do it justice, orange with blue bits (bars, pedals, hubs etc) looks absolutely pimp. Only been out on it a couple of times so far, but it rides pretty nicely too 😀

Another tallboy carbon here. 9 speed xtr drivetrain and king/stans wheels. The bars are now easton ec70 low rise with no bar ends.

yeh they are a bit like a gumpert, ugly as sin but super light, super fast and Mine was a shite load better than my 5 on the technical stuff.

Yeah, to be a true ‘superbike’ I’d want to see XX1, carbon wheels, ti bolts throughout etc. No expense spared basically

For me I can’t see why I’d want carbon rims over my arch

I’m light so arch are plenty stiff enough for me
But yes despite only being an enduro I have been worshiping all things weight weenies -ti bolts road saddle etc etc

It’s about the time and care to build and choose not just cost
But have to agree no place for xt

Whilst I wouldn’t spend Enve money I would definitely get some Light Bicycle ones or sommat.

Here’s mine, SRAM x0, xt brakes arch flow rims on hope hubs. I’m getting used to it but it is solid.
