bump
It will be metallic orange in a few months, with blue Benotto tape.
Not a true ‘road bike’, but steel all the same…
😉
If you’re lucky, in 20 years it’ll still be going strong, like she is:
this is mine,
Not its best angle. Also looks a bit more at home with its mudguards and rear dyno light these days.

Touring bike rather than road bike, saddle needed adjustment and racks fitting.
Rob Jackson not riding a Bob Jackson?
Mind you I don’t ride a Turner.
In winter mode complete with fuglyguards
teetoosugars what size tyres are those? Thinking of going fatter on my tourer…
700x 40…
Spotty Dog IMHO..
Sam, what bag is that mate?
Looks a bit different now.
This is a fairly old photo, the white tyres are long gone.
Ready to be built up – Italian, handmade, Columbus Genius.. I fell in love with the curvacious seat stays!
Sam’s bag looks like a carradice from the green with the orange leather strap restraint.

I love that frame Digger. I don’t think I’ve seen a lugged Kona, looks really right.
I have an Arthur Caygil in the loft which I’ll be modernising. But I found this thread for inspiration. Retro with STIs[/url]
Couple of mine
That Colnago is very nice.
Don’t they all just look so nice, it’s not just my age is it.
was about to post a pic but Sam has posted mine already. Here is a different pic instead.
@teetosugars – its a carradice zipped roll.

Not mine but a fried at work is expecting delivery of this beauty at some point this year. http://www.demonframeworks.com/gallery/ 953 I believe, even though I don’t do road bikes I can salivate over this one.
Nice bike Pebble, here’s the ’98 version.
