Regards the telly, he’s the sort of person who’d have a huge screen set, something like a 100”, and something like that would be a couple of thousand dollars, but Samsung do a 114” Class MSIC Micro LED smart tv that’s $149,999, and that’s exactly the sort of extravagance I can see him spending out on!

And only for federal crimes, not state crimes. I’m not sure what court this case was tried in, but it would have to be a federal court for Trump to be able to issue a pardon.

However, that doesn’t cover just ignoring the court and using the federal bureaucracy to harass judges, lawyers, etc. until they give up trying to collect.

I had a colleague who had a major Tory love thing for Thatcher and a long term obsession with Gillian Anderson. He lived alone and died of a heart attack not long after that season of The Crown was released. I honestly think he died from ‘over excitement.’
