I’ve been helping my younger brother move over the last couple of days. As he now has a bigger place and my parents are moving they sent some of his stuff over. I discovered this lot amongst them, I bought them him for presents.

Definitely worth some money then. Are the figures assembled/painted? Not sure about that edition of Space Marine/Epic since it’s the slightly unloved 2nd ed, but everyone loves old Space Hulk, and all the expansions together with the minis and boards in good nick… Dunno, there’s a set like that on ebay for £270 right now but that might be optimistic, couldn’t find a sold one. I’d be tempted to make an offer but tbh I’m not sure I’d be up for paying what it’s actually worth so I’ll not.

Old GW stuff is worth a fortune, it’s like old Transformers toys, 40 year olds buying all the stuff they wanted when they were 15 and couldn’t afford.

All assembled I can’t recall any being painted but it was only a quick look. Yeah prices seem to be around £100 for each one but of course that’s eBay prices.

Ah, memories of thinking maybe, just maybe, I wouldn’t get torn to shreds within the first few turns and get no where near any of the objectives…

People will def buy it on ebay – I put together a complete Hero Quest (plus ADV HQ) a couple of years ago that cost me a lot more than I was willing to tell the wife.

Still not managed to convince the kids to play it with me !!

Would love Space Hulk – just need to find it in a car boot sale or somewhere that doesn’t know how much it’s worth haha

    Retro? Retro???

I found my 2nd edition Bloodbowl set in a cupboard recently. I said I’d post it down to my brother-in-law in New Zealand, but to be honest…I still kind of like it and have fond memories of playing it.

I even still have my Warhammer Fantasy battle (3rd edition) armies on display in my man cave, alongside my mechanised armies from Battle Tech.

No-one to play them with, but I’d struggle to part with them as I seriously loved all that shit, but I wouldn’t call it retro!
