I’ve supported him for so long and watched so many putts just missed – but today was too awful to endure and all too predictable

We lack depth and needed the bug guns to be firing. But they were not. Tough call but Neither Westie nor Kaymer should have been out there this afternoon.

Not a bad effort from us and Clarke will be treated OK despite errors in selection – the experience card yesterday didn’t work. But to prove a (laboured) point it came down to two putts by the same guy in the end.
