Not much point in posting this as it’s showing as in stock but I have a Large Hooded Rain Jacket in orange/red to send back, in case it goes out of stock tonight it’s yours for £123 posted.

Also a Country long sleeve jersey in Blue/medium to send back – this is showing as out of stock so if anyone wants it then £63.00 and it’s yours.

Clothing will be posted tomorrow morning so get in touch beforehand if you want it.

The Merino hat is very nice so i’m keeping that, The winter base layer in medium fits perfectly so i’m keeping that, The Hooded Rain Jacket in medium is perfect and just oozes quality so i’m keeping that, and my long sleeve country jersey in red/large is also a keeper.

Bloody good sale, i’m well chuffed with the fit and quality of the kit.

    Country jersey is bloody lovely.

Medium fits me fine and I’m usually large in proper roadie stuff, in case anyone is considering that one above.

bit of an expensive item, but I returned a XL Grey Brevet Jersey today so may be back in stock in a couple of days… word of warning though, they come up fairly large.

I’d be interested in buying a Columbian country jersey in large or xl if anyone is thinking of returning.

I knew I shouldn’t have come back here.

Just ordered the rain jacket too.

May be able to help you out jools.

Got one on the way to try for size, but the medium fits good so I expect it’ll be too big.

    Chakaping thanks, let me know

I’m 6’3″ and have long arms so I’m presuming I’ll need large

You won’t fit the medium anyway!

Email me if you’re interested in the large and I’ll reply when it arrives.

I’d be very grateful if someone could return a set of womens classic winter tights in large or medium! Stupidly left it to buy them when I got home and in that time they had sold out!

    T’is true, you’ve bashed Rapha for being poncy/hipster/expensive..blahdiblah.. 🙄

Anyway some of you are coming round to the realisation that the stuffs really rather good. Thats all that needs to be said..

I expect to see you all here, or in a thread similar, in a years time 😆

Don’t be so patronizing. Clearly, no matter how good it is, its overpriced – hence the feeding frenzy when there is a sale. Plenty of people know its good quality but can’t afford / won’t buy it at full price.

you continue to shower yourself in glory in this thread, don’t you? Or are you being all ironic and meta, portraying the sort of aloof attitude Rapha wearers are labelled with thanks to their marketing?

Their kit is top quality, their marketing pretentious and ripe for ridicule, and their rrp prices far more than I am prepared to pay for cycling kit. At sale prices (eg. 60 quid for a long sleeve Sportwool jersey) they are extremely good value, with prices similar to “mid range brands” but attention to detail and design that surpasses them.

I now own 3 Rapha long sleeves and 1 short sleeve jersey. I will enjoy wearing them and continue to find the JVA spoofs amusing.

IDGAF who thinks what about Rapha’s clothes/marketing, I just wish they’d use some of their spectacular profits to fund a quicker delivery service!

Still waiting for the second half of my order from Friday.

(yes I know, first world problems)

Yeah but they’ve been swamped by all us hypocritical vultures, their stuff is normally hand delivered by maidens, within 24 hours.

    Good quality, but overpriced.

Even if I was loaded, I’d still only buy when it’s discounted

EDIT: just had a (3rd?) look at the sale stuff. this is truly overpriced stuff for Brand-victims.

Then pray tell, why do you keep looking?

I own two pieces of Rapha clothing, and both are the nicest pieces of cycling ware that I have ever owned. I couldn’t care less that it’s made by Rapha (in fact you’d have to really know what you’re looking at to tell that it is) they both look great, feel amazing, wash really well and don’t seem to degrade.

Bought in the sale, they are, I believe, incredibly good value.

Me too chakaping – I’m debating about your country jersey. I have the exact same in large and while it fits its fractionally too big so I might send it back – but the medium sounds a bit small, especially round the neck (I’m 5ft 11″, 39.5″ chest and 16″ neck)

The medium winter base fits perfect but then that’s race fit for wearingunder stuff, the country seems to like being a bit loose as its more casual

Luckily the quality of the clothing is vastly superior to that of the troll. I’d expect better from a big hitter really 🙂

    POSTED 10 MINUTES

OK so I’ve offended the OP with my opinion, apologies.

Waterproof jacket for £175 from £260. I got a Sportful for £30 from £100, how is this 6 times better?

Merino jersey reduced to £80 so what? My £70RRP Altura and £90RRP Bontrager are windproof, merino has been widely decried as Emporer’s new clothes.

Merino Gloves £45 I’ve found plenty alternatives in the sales <£20

It’s lovely stuff, don’t get me wrong, but in performance/£, not worth it,even at these prices.

I would pay a small fortune for a waterproof coat that really would keep me dry all day on the bike .Walking jackets often cost over 200 quid if the Rapha one works I would buy it at full price as I was a bit skint when they had my size on sale

Winter base layer arrived today. Looks and feels great for the money – nicer than my icebreaker stuff and may even be nicer than my old Howies NBL…

Happy with the Country jersey I got and even took punt on one of the Condor JLT Celebratory Jersey and very happy with that. For £50 even tempted to get another.

Jools – sorry, I’ve just tried it on over a base layer and whilst it could be a fraction smaller the medium will definitely be too small and its waaay too nice to send back
