The return of Dallas – fantastic! I recall the original with wistful affection.

The series may turn into a guilty pleasure with actors who are wood from the knees up, risible dialogue and absurd plot twists – a lovable turkey!

Series 1, episode 1 – ‘Changing of the Guard’.

It’s like waking up and finding the last 25 years of my life was a dream.

Can’t believe anyone will watch that crap. Same sense of nostalgia that makes people go and see cruddy tribute bands?

And I recall the incredulity that anyone could sit down and watch such pointless crap, let alone read newspaper articles about it.

Loved it as a kid, watched it last night, loved it. Guilty pleasure of the highest order. I particularly like that they’ve kept the same opening credits style 🙂
