Thanks, ordered – I’ll let you know what they’re like when they arrive 👍🏻

    Damn, i’m torn.
My new S150 is boost, but my Stooge Mk4 is standard through axles.
If only these were none boost and I could fit boostinators, then I could share the wheelset.

Wheels have arrived, look good but the rear has a Shimano freehub body and I need an XD freehub.

They’re completely plain, matte black with no decals. They don’t come with most of the stuff mentioned in the above review, just bare wheels with tubeless tape already fitted. There’s a hole for the valve, so I think the tubeless valves have been removed.

Now waiting for CRC to reply to my request for an XD driver 🙂

Cheers for the update, also need xd so they may need to go back!

picture has Shimano freehub, were you expecting XD hub?

Photo is of an HG freehub and there’s no mention anywhere of XD Driver. I’d imagine they’ll tell you to go raffle yourself

That picture wasn’t there when I ordered them!!

They are sold everywhere else with both a shimano and xd freewheel and they quote the discount from full rrp. (Assumptions eh!).

Does anyone know whether the end caps are interchangeable on the rear hub? I have a boost 141mm qr frame.

A quick Google suggests that these rims are built onto a formula hub for Trek, but I couldn’t see anything using these hubs.

if there wasn’t an option to select at the checkout then they don’t have it. CRC’s reply in this case will be ‘if you don’t like it, send it back’. My recent experience is that they have zero interest in post-sale customer service

No the retail wheelset comes with a shimano and xd freehub so that you can swap. (See the review)

I’m guessing that, like most heavily discounted stuff that CRC sell, these are excess OEM stock. There’s no Sun Ringle box, no instructions, no branding. Just a plain cardboard box with two wheels inside.

They look like the wheels off a Trek Powerfly.

I might get a set if there’s any left on payday.

Ordered. Hopefully they haven’t robbed it of the components…

You were right 😂, they said sorry but not sorry!

I’ve ordered an XD driver from Germany via EBay for £61, so a total of £236 – I think that’s still a good price, so I’m happy.

Mounted them up – nice looking stealthy wheelset. Weigh 2010g, with tape, no valves. Stripped a rotor bolt thread with wrench set to 5nm, so take care; they’re a bit delicate.

Oh, I forgot all about this- Decathlon is selling their Switch And Ride wheels for £229 online, with some better discounts in some stores. Duroc 40 rims on mystery boost hubs, plus a pair of discs, plus a pair of hutchison taipans, plus a 11 speed GX cassette.

I think B+ is bullshit and I instantly regretted wasting time and money on it but even so I have to admit I nearly bought a set 🙂

I bought them to run 2.5/2.6 rubber, not interested in anything bigger.
