Just installed a oneup dropper and wanted to check with other owners if the noise of it actuating sounds like theirs? It’s hard to describe, a bit like a double clunk in very quick succession.

    Does this sound normal?

Yep fairly normal bud, told you it wasn’t as ‘quality’ as the fox, it’s like a rattly top out klunk I’d say it sounds normal from what I can hear

Doesnt hinder operation at all just sounds a bit wrong

Sure. I appreciate it’s not as refined as the Fox. But I’m also not sure the Fox is worth almost double the cost. Time will tell 🙂

Mine is absolutely silent, but the one on my girlfriends bike makes this clunk when actuated. No idea why, but seems to work perfectly all the same.

@militantmandy – is yours shimmed? I wonder if it’s something lose in there.

They’re a doddle to disassemble/reassemble. Take a look inside. Worth regreasing too.
