Got me 1210s down from the loft and one has lost a channel – any ideas about what it could be – things to check?

    cheers

Connection between the Cart and the headshell, and the headshell and the tonearm are a good place to start.

I was DJing to about 800 people once when I lost the right hand side! Mixed the next tune in VERY quickly, whipped the cart off the offending deck, gave it a quick blow out, put it back on and all was good again.

Try swapping the headshell over from the other deck. If that works OK, you know it’s probably something to do with your cartridge/headshell/stylus. If it still doesn’t work, check the connections to the mixer.
