I just tried posting a photo to the Unfortunate business names thread. I was optimistic as it gave me a different dialogue box from over the weekend, and appeared to accept the file, but once I submitted it the post was filled up with code, and no photo…

Except it’s precisely a membership issue.  Your post was “how do I get rid of adverts?” when you weren’t showing as a Full Member. :unsure:  I have no idea who is and isn’t a subscriber.

There is an issue with page count for me.  On the mega politics thread it shows last post as page 204 and when you click to go to it it takes you to page 204 but actually there are a number of posts on page 205.  this has been consistent for a few days.  Minor issue

Like TJ clicking on the latest post timing in the right hand column takes me to the penultimate page.

If I go to the Bike or Chat pages, I can no longer see the page links at the bottom to go to page 2 onwards, anyone else having this issue?

Well there is one benefit which I obviously no longer enjoy…… the added gravitas having “Full Member” next to a username brings to an opinion 🙁 

And why the constant random small text sizes to suggest that I am whispering or mumbling ffs?

Can’t get the photo upload working from safari on iOS. Have the requisite button on the post editor just don’t get anything when I try to upload a photo from my library (though I can still insert alternative image text from the pop up and link to images from other websites).

Photo doesn’t work for me on Android tablet or phone or from my Windows laptop

Same here – I’ve emailed tech@singletrack and posted on the forum, so hoping it gets sorted today. If the emojis shite takes priority and gets changed first, I will be cancelling my sub again

Will say, it’s only the display against posts that is affected. Everything else behaves as if a Full Member. (except the “Join Us” ad above my profile where it actually says “Full Member”)

As long as it is done at some point I don’t see the problem.

I’ve emailed tech@singletrack and posted on the forum, so hoping it gets sorted today.

Firstly, the support address is tech-support@ not tech@ so that’s never going to get read.

Secondly, general issues with subs is subs@ not tech.

Thirdly, if you read the update thread, there is a known issue with some subs not transferring correctly and Mark suggested that those affected email him directly for personal attention, that would be mark@

Fourthly, scattergunning your displeasure across multiple threads achieves nothing.

Another unable to post photos, I’m using iPad or iPhone.

I can’t post photos either, on Windows/Chrome or Android. STW is deprived of a photo of my favourite mug 🙁

I was looking to send a message to someone. However their last reply was quite long in terms of text, now when i go to the messages i can’t scroll down to the empty area i need to click into. It’s simply not allowing it.

With my Tech Support hat on,

“I can’t [do something]” is unhelpful in isolation.  Possible causes for “I can’t post photos” could include: my mouse is broken; I don’t have a camera; there’s a powercut; my hands have fallen off; the house is on fire.

If you can’t do something then what is helpful is a description of symptoms.  WHY can’t you post photos?  Does the Insert Picture button do nothing, does the upload fail with an error (and if so then what does the error message say), something else?

One thing I found with photos pre-move is reducing the physical size helped, I could post an 800×600 resized image but not the original straight-out-of-the-phone version of the same thing regardless of file size limitations.  Someone else mentioned that if the filename has more than one dot in it then it chokes, so foo.bar.jpg fails but foo-bar.jpg works.
