I can nearly fit my existing 170mm reverb into a new bike that’s a little bigger than my old one but I could do with an extra bit of adjustment room. I’m running 170mm cranks but the saddle is quite tall at 5cm. Any recommendations for ‘low’ saddles, ideally with some reasonable padding…moon on a stick?

I think my Bontrager Montrose is quite thin. Comfy too

My SDG Circuit MTN saddle was about 5mm shallower than the previous WTB that came with the bike. It’s a pretty flat saddle. The Fizik Tundra 2 I use on my commuter is also very flat although I think the rails may be a little taller.

Selle SLR saddles are small and comfy.

    Yup, SDG circuit as above.

    Get fatter pedals?

SDG circuit is a good shout, but my word be prepared to need to toughen your backside up. It’s a bit razor sharp.

Why not just wait for your stealth reverb to inevitably develop 10mm of sag?

Sorry. Last comment wasn’t that useful 😛
