Thought Rishi had withdrawn the whip after her appearance with Steve Bannon supporting Yaxley-Lennon as a hero…..

He should have withdrawn the whip from Mad Lizzie and Cruella but he didn’t because he hasn’t got the balls, because they have much more support amongst his backbenchers and he knows it

As for her bills for flights and catering, she seems to think she’s some kind of medieval monarch. One springs immediately to mind…

@binners … So true…I never drew the parallel between thick lizzy and black adder! hahah! It’s a perfect fit!

Her ‘James Bond super villain’ fancy dress (complete with black bear skin hat) during her russian visit was another classic but actual real-life…

I think Truss has based her public facing persona on Philomena Cunk!

FOI request asking for cost details of the numerous long-distance flights that Truss took in her short lived time as PM and as Foreign Sec before that…

Oooph.. on initial reading I thought “£1,400 per head” was fairly reasonable for a long flight, if you include security costs etc, as they are government officials etc…until I read further and that was just the bar tab!!!

Catering for the Australia flights in January 2022 cost £15,639 in total — 3.4 percent of the total £454,626.59 cost of the tickets.

it looks like the book is taking her legendary lack of self-awareness to terrifying new heights

In another extract she raises issues I’m sure we can all identify with

Is that a genuine extract from her book @binners?

I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again….not something that I say lightly, but I genuinely worry about her mental state.

    Oh I love this sentence:

We ordered some of our own [furniture] but were evicted before it could be delivered

    😂😂😂

I thought John Lewis did next day delivery…? Or does that not count when you have to get into Downing Street.
    Anyway. Hahahaha.

@binners although I despise the woman, she does make some valid points in that extract.

We run the Prime Minister’s office in an amateurish manner, and then wonder why we get amateurish incumbents.

True, but the sense of entitlement that Truss has always displayed is absolutely off the scale.

Little Lord Sunak is even worse though,  but the pair of them cost us all an absolute fortune just with their preferred form of transport

Technically yes but in reality she was sacked.

Although of course this was at the instigation of the deep state and those all powerful lefties so shouldnt count.

I wonder if she kept the furniture so that when the entire nation falls to its knees (actually maybe not that might seem a bit black lives matters so how about genuflecting instead) begging for her to return to save us she wont have to wait to fit out number 10.

^^ I do wonder if she genuinely has some sirt of syndrome!

Imagine being so bad at ANY job that you crash and burn spectacularly within days and very publicly yet you go on to declare that you were right and everyone else was wrong.

    Is Anti-Imposter Syndrome a thing?!😁

Not a chance. That would suggest the Conservatives aren’t now a hard right party. Not a message Sunak can be sending out if he wants to stay PM.

So this is Truss takeaway from Trumps time in office:

Liz Truss has endorsed Donald Trump to win this year’s US presidential election, saying the “world was safer” when he was in the White House.

I’m not sure which planet she was on at the time but that’s not how I remember his 4 years as president…

What the **** are the BBC doing giving that oxygen thief any airtime? I’m sure in her head it confers some kind of relevance/endorsement. They should be ashamed of themselves. Who are they going to wheel in for balance from the opposition? That idiot Corbyn?

^^ I have no idea why anyone would value any opinion she has. She proved on the world stage she has no credible opinions any reasonable person would be interested in.

She has absolutely no insight into her own failings, even Nixon basically turned his back on the world after his downfall.

She’s just a political grifter, the same as the likes of Farrage or Anderson… they have no politics, they are just trying to make money, and to be fair,  mostly being semi-sucessfull at doing so.

Calm down ……I for one enjoyed reading the BBC article about Liz Truss, I thought it was excellent.

I  liked how when reporting Truss’s endorsement of Trump they pointed that “Her comments came as the first of Mr Trump’s four criminal trials began in New York.”  After they had reminded their readers that she was “the UK’s shortest-serving prime minster”.

I also loved how she hates the OBR so much, especially as it was created by a Tory government!

I found the whole article hugely entertaining.

Well I have just seen the BBC interview and the only people I can think of who might be upset about the publicity that Liz Truss is getting would be members of the Conservative Party.

The last thing the Tories need as the next general election gets ever closer is for voters to be reminded of Liz Truss’s disastrous premiership.

I also think that it’s great that she hasn’t ruled out standing for the Tory leadership again. Senior Tories must be groaning in disbelief and Labour must be wondering what they have done to deserve such good luck.

That’s a nice line for Labour “Remember, whatever Tory leader you’re voting for today, they might just replace them with Liz Truss halfway through for a laugh”

Lol, look at the quote from Truss at the top of todays Telegraph. 😉

Yep, the whole world is stupid. She’s the only genius here.

She seems to be on a personal mission to blot out any last vestige of reality from her weird little world

Given her track record, it’s not hard to see why. Looks like the Guardian were right with their predictions though …

Senior Tories fear Johnson and Truss will sabotage Sunak’s election campaign

Neither of them seeming to realise that a period of STFU would probably be best advised from both of them

    Deluded doesn’t do it justice.

Caught part of the Newscast interview on last nights news, and couldn’t believe how dangerously deluded she sounded.  Thought the interviewer let her skewer herself nicely.

Genuinely made me think that Boris wasn’t so bad. Then I slapped myself.

It wouldn’t be for Liz. The rumor is that all the libertarian wing nuts who fund Tufton Street and the like have told her that she’ll be cut off if she goes quietly into the night because her premiership proved how batshit crazy their economic theories are.
